Notifications

The Notifications page (fenixhost.net/account/notifications) lets you choose how we reach you about your services, invoices and tickets.

Browser push notifications​

Push notifications show real-time updates in your browser, even when you are not on the site.

  1. Click Enable Push Notifications.
  2. Allow notifications when your browser asks.

If the page says push notifications are blocked, enable them in your browser's settings for fenixhost.net and reload the page.

Product announcements​

An opt-in for occasional emails about new features and services. Account, billing and security emails are always sent, whatever you choose here.

Choose Email, In-App or both​

The notification table has two columns, Email Notifications and In-App Notifications. Tick one, both or neither for each event, then click Save.

The events include:

  • New invoices, order confirmations and successful payments
  • Payment failures
  • Service activations, suspensions, terminations and cancellations
  • When a cancelled plan ends
  • Ticket replies
  • Free server events: expiry reminders, a server paused or resumed, deletion, your place in the queue, a server ready for you, a reserved server about to expire, an expired reservation, and the Discord requirement
tip

If you use the free server queue, keep the queue events on. A server that is ready is only reserved for 48 hours. See Get a free server.

warning

Do not turn off payment failure and suspension alerts. They are how you find out in time to fix a problem. See Invoices and payments.

Common problems​

  • I am not getting emails: check your spam folder and that the address under Account is right. See Account and security.
  • Push does not work: your browser may be blocking it. Allow notifications for the site.
