Game panel overview

The game panel is where you run a single server: start and stop it, read the console, edit files, make backups and change settings. It looks the same for every game, only the game-specific group in the sidebar changes.

There is no separate panel login. You open the panel from the FenixHost store with the same account (see Open the panel).

The top bar

The top bar is always visible:

  • FenixHost logo on the left.
  • Ask FenixAI, with the shortcut Ctrl K. It opens the assistant from any page of the panel. See FenixAI.
  • Your avatar (your initials or picture).
  • Dashboard, which takes you back to the store, where your list of servers, invoices and tickets live. The panel itself has no server list page.

Under the top bar, the page header shows a breadcrumb (Servers / your server name), the server name with its status (for example Offline or Running) and a subtitle such as the game and version.

The sidebar

The sidebar on the left is split into groups.

SERVER

These five pages exist for every game:

PageWhat it is for
ConsolePower buttons, server address, live stats and the console.
FilesFile manager and SFTP details.
SchedulesTimed commands, power actions and backups.
BackupsRestore points of your server.
SettingsNetwork, subdomain, users, SFTP access, advanced options.

The game group

Below SERVER you get a group named after your game.

  • MINECRAFT: Players, Worlds, Versions, Plugins (or Mods on mod servers) and Properties. See the Minecraft section.
  • RUST: Rust Manager Log, Players, Plugins, Custom Maps and Wipes. See the Rust section.

ASSISTANT

FenixAI is the built-in assistant. It has its own page here, and the same assistant is also one keypress away with Ctrl K. See FenixAI.

On a phone or a small screen

On a narrow screen the sidebar turns into a menu. Tap the menu button at the top to open it, then pick a page. All the pages and buttons are the same as on a computer.

What moved where

If you used an older version of the panel, some pages are gone. Nothing was removed from your server, the options just live in Settings now:

You are looking forWhere it is now
Network, IP address and portSettings > Network
Subdomain (a name instead of the IP)Settings > Subdomain, or Add a subdomain on the Console page
Other people who can manage the server (subusers)Settings > Users
SFTP password and SSH keysSettings > SFTP access
Reinstalling the serverSettings > Advanced

The panel has no Startup, Databases or Activity pages anymore. Server version and software are chosen on the game pages (for Minecraft, see Versions), and server name, map size and seed for Rust are set on the Wipes page (see Wipes).
